The TSA Officers had a virtual meeting using Zoom to discuss ways to improve the club for future students. Some of the ideas discussed were keeping weekly meetings that alternate between club members and officers, having another social that will allow students to socialize more and get to know each better, arranging service projects at the LHS food pantry, and helping students start competition projects earlier by communicating information to parents about their students competitions.

Layton High Students including TSA Club Treasurer Reece, went to Shoreline Junior High to promote CTE and STEM based clubs and classes on January 27th and 29th. Back on October 12th, some of our TSA Officers attended the Fall TSA Leadership Conference. Josh Bouwhuis (President), Nataly Obeso (Vice President), Jackie Stigile (Historian), Reece Baclayon (Treasurer), and Ethan Vanweerd (Sergeant-At-Arms) all attended the State event that took place at Timpview High School. Our officers learned many leadership skills and more about the Technology Student Association, as well as many team bonding activities. The officers enjoyed listening to a guest speaker, participating in individual classes, and working as a group to construct a paper bridge. Club rush was a success. President Josh Bouwhuis, Vice President Nataly Obeso, and Secretary Maria Crago answered questions and gathered names for future TSA members.
